Please note that this layer - Orogenic events 1:500 000 (DMIRS-036) will be removed from SLIP Public Geology and Soils Map service on Friday 2nd December 2022.
Orogenic events became obsolete due to closely related Tectonic Units layer being changed. The updated layer will be made available at a later date, when updated.
The removal of this layer will change the WMS layer IDs. For wms getmap requests please always refer to the GetCapabilities XML for the correct layer IDs.
Please Note: There will be an intermittent outage to the services while they are republished. There will be no outages to the maps, however the services will not be available in the maps while republishing.
