Regular system patching will occur between 2.30pm and 7.30pm every 2nd Sunday. System patches require a restart of servers and this can disrupt services for a short period of time during these scheduled maintenance periods. Please do not schedule automated scripts to download data during this timeframe as they may be interrupted.

Please note the following DFES layers, currently located in the SLIP Public Disaster Service, will not be updated with new warning content between 15 July 2024 and 2 September 2024 while upgrades are undertaken to transition the feeds to the Australian Warning System framework.

• DFES Emergency Warning Areas (DFES-052)
• DFES Emergency Warning Points (DFES-053)

Business reason: Australian Warning System framework has launched on Emergency WA, the Public Disaster Service warning related datasets have been suspended between 15 July 2024 and 2 September 2024 while these datasets are transitioned to the new nationally consistent warning framework. During this time, please refer directly to Emergency WA for the latest warnings https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/

This change is implementing improved attribute naming in support of a new automated data update process by DPIRD.

Main Roads | All Open Data | Rest End URL Update Oct 10, 2024 17:00-18:00 AWST
Please be advised of the following change – Main Roads has updated the source URLs for Open Data items due to an upgrade to the ArcGIS Server version.

• For users of the Main Roads Open Data website: There have been no impacts or disruptions to services.
• For users who consume the ArcGIS REST services directly: Please update the URL by replacing ‘mrgis’ with ‘gisservices’. The rest of the URL structure remains identical.

• Example of source URLs:
Old URL: https://mrgis.mainroads.wa.gov.au/arcgis/rest/services/OpenData
New URL: https://gisservices.mainroads.wa.gov.au/arcgis/rest/services/OpenData

The mrgis services will be discontinued on Friday, October 11th. Please ensure your URLs are updated before this date to avoid any disruptions.

Investigating - We are experiencing time-out issues impacting SLIP Data Downloads and the Custodian Self-Service tool. The problem is currently being investigated.

SLIP services and maps are not affected and can still be accessed. We apologise for any inconvenience this issue causes, and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve it.
