The OBRM layers listed above are being retired and replaced by Bushfire Prone Areas (OBRM-026), published on the 16th September 2026.
Users migrating from OBRM-001, OBRM-023, OBRM-024, and OBRM-025 to the new OBRM-026 layer should be aware that the dataset schema has changed and any scripts, applications, or data pipelines may require updates.
Key changes in Bushfire Prone Areas (OBRM-026) include: • A new 'Planning Area' field identifying whether a feature is in 'Area 1' or 'Area 2' • A new 'Transition Period' field indicating whether a Bushfire Prone Area is within the 4-month transition period (Yes or No)
Please note the removal of the layers will change the WMS layer IDs, however the ESRI REST Service layer IDs will remain the same. For WMS getmap requests please always refer to the GetCapabilities XML for the correct layer IDs.
Please note: There will be an intermittent outage to the services while they are republished. There will be no outages to the maps, however the services will not be available in the maps while republishing.
