Sundays between 2.30pm and 7.30pm
Regular system patching will occur between 2.30pm and 7.30pm every 2nd Sunday. System patches require a restart of servers and this can disrupt services for a short period of time during these scheduled maintenance periods. Please do not schedule automated scripts to download data during this timeframe as they may be interrupted.

Scheduled Maintenance

New Datasets | DWER State Climate Projection layers Nov 10, 2025 16:45-17:00 AWST

Please note that the following layers will be added to the new SLIP Public Climate Service on Monday 10th November 2025.

• State Climate Projections 20km - Rainfall bias corrected (DWER-142)
• State Climate Projections 20km - Min Temperature bias corrected (DWER-143)
• State Climate Projections 20km - Max Temperature bias corrected (DWER-144)

From Tuesday morning, the layers will be available in the services and URL links will be updated on Data WA.

The new Climate service and Data WA group will be live on Monday 10th November after business hours. For links to related datasets please see below:

Please note the addition of the layers will change the WMS layer IDs, however the ESRI REST Service layer IDs will remain the same. For WMS getmap requests please always refer to the GetCapabilities XML for the correct layer IDs.

Scheduled - We will be undertaking scheduled maintenance to our SLIP Data Upload Tool (SLIP Self Service) on Wednesday 5th November 2025.

Change will include:
- The database will be upgraded to the latest version (RDS SQL Server 2016 16.00.4215.2.v1)

Uploads will be impacted during the 2 hour maintenance window. We will be monitoring for failed and queued uploads, to be processed following implementation. The Data Upload Tool web application will also be unavailable during implementation.
