We will be making some enhancements to the LandInfo WA App on the evening of Wednesday 2nd October. There may be a small outage to the map as we deploy into production. Once the map has been deployed you may need to clear your cache to pick up the changes.
Enhancements to the app include:
- New functionality in the share widget enables you to share the layers that are currently visible in the map. Please note though there is a limitation to how many layers you can have turned on otherwise the url will be too long to generate and will error. Unfortunately the share widget layer visibility also picks up the sub layers that are selected even though the parent folder is selected making the layers visible in the map. This causes the url to be very long and unusable. You will need to turn all sub layers off to use this functionality. This has been raised with Esri to find a solution.
- The swipe widget has been added which enables you to easily compare the content of different layers in a map. You can slide the swipe tool to reveal the content of another layer. For example, you may want to use it to show before-and-after imagery of a flood, or display two related thematic layers in a map.
- We have also added the Coordinate Conversion widget which enables users to input coordinates using one coordinate system and output to a different coordinate system using multiple notation formats.
